Joiner Reliability & Maintenance and Mobile Training Towers are two separate businesses that are owned and operated here in Hawkinsville by the same owners. Joiner Reliability and Maintenance is an industrial millwright fabrication service. They offer extensive gear work on paper machines along with welding and fabrication services. Their millwrights (skilled industrial mechanics) travel all over the United States to all kinds of different paper mills to offer their excellent skills. Mobile Training Towers on the other hand is a much different type of business. This business offers the first ever portable training simulators for first responder’s and law enforcement agencies. These towers are custom built to each customers specs, are self contained on a trail-er, are onsite to upright in only 15 minuets and offer a hot dipped galvanized frame. It takes MTT around 3-4 months for fabrication of the towers and they can offer them to anywhere within the US. They have currently provided towers to many different locations such as New York Homeland Security, the Kansas Fire and Rescue Training/University of Kansas, the State Fire Rescue Training facility in Kentucky, and are currently working two (2) 3 story MTT’s for Kentucky and one for Lake Tahoe Community College. They even plan to offer their towers internationally in the foreseeable future. Both business are very active in our community by working closely with the Pulaski County Fire Department however they can with providing steel, supporting their BBQ’s and sponsorships for the Firemen’s Calendar, sponsoring a high school cheerleader each year, along with taking part in the Hawkinsville High School Work Program.
